N.Y,
some reasons for selling..... moving, age, health, divorce, lost interest,no longer needed, wife says so.....

'poly' plows should last a long time, unless you magically 'find' that skid you KNOW was on the OTHER side of the barn.

curious as to the actual weight difference between a poly plow vs steel.ONLY diff should be the 'skin' ?
About the same weight. A poly plow has a steel frame that is quite heavy but flexible.

N.Y,
Hmmm.....I've never had an issue with my Boss vee plow pushing my RTX sideways or losing traction with no weight in the bed. I'm running the work sight tires.
I just tried moving a foot of slushy wet snow and with the plow angled had to steer into the bank to keep a straight line. Guess you don't have dense lake snow or heavy wet snow storms. Still waiting for a 2 ft storm to see how it handles it. I'm just playing with it now on warm days and probably going to dump mine since getting the cab tractor that is more comfortable and capable. I only have a little over 20 hours on it because it's so slow and hhard to shift. The worksite tires I had on the sidekick were useless in snow. They would pack full and loose traction. Are you plowing on blacktop?

I live on lake Superior and I have a gravel driveway and hills. But I also don't wait until it's ridiculously bad to plow. I don't know? It and those tires worked for me.
But I swapped it out for the K-Connect and blower because a blower is easier on machine, will go through anything and is easier for my wife to operate.

We are just south of lake Ontario. I really can't see how you can justify the blower cost. It's still a noisy machine with uncomfortable seats and seating position, low powered and slow. Guess for over 40k invested I would just go with a newer truck and plow that was comfortable. The price of these machines and accessories has gone crazy lately.

Well, I had an F550 with a Boss plow and it sat here all winter. Visibility sucks and just starting it burnt more fuel than the Kubota's use all winter.
The price of the blower setup for the RTV is disgusting for sure. But sometimes my wife has to clean the yard and she absolutely loves the RTV now. It made her life a 100 times easier.
And I never sell anything, so it's a lifetime purchase as with all my other stuff. At least I was lucky enough to get the RTV before the covid pricing took effect on them.
It is slow for trail riding and a bit loud at full throttle, but I don't find it uncomfortable or underpowered at all. it's faster than a tractor with a blower.
