The tractor is running perfectly fine after the engine overhaul.
Engine overhaul??????????????????

According to the invoice they replaced the injectors which might be considered a tune up.

I signed up just to leave this comment as your thread helped me out. My LX3310 was doing the same exact thing as yours where after about 20 minutes of running it would lose all power, especially when I had the AC on. My local dealer picked up the machine yesterday and today I got a phone call that there is a bulletin posted where the injectors need to be changed under warranty. My tractor is a 2021 with 151 hours if that matters. I printed this thread out for them and they confirmed it with their internal bulletin. I think he said that as soon as the coolant got to 60 Celsius (don’t quote me on the exact number), the tractor automatically goes into limp mode because of the injectors. He did say that since this isn’t a one off and that it was posted on a bulletin, the injectors are a new upgraded type which won’t have this issue in the future. They are swapping everything out and I should have my tractor in about 7 days. They’re just waiting on the parts to arrive before they can start the work. Thanks again for posting this thread. Hopefully others with this issue will be able to get help from these posts.

Oh my Kubota is seeming to have ongoing issues with their 33HP B50 and LX10 series engines.
I had 220 hours on my LX2610 (22 months months of ownership) and have 450 hours on my LX3310 (30 months) and no major issues with either.

I just got my LX3310 back from the dealer and it’s like new. They picked it up on a Tuesday and I got it back today which is Friday. No longer experiencing the issue and I’ve ran it for about 2 hours straight with the AC blasting in the hot south Florida sun. It’s about 85 here right now so definitely a good test. I am attaching the invoice so others can see what was actually done. They had to take off my front loader and they also found a mouse nest (I lived in NY up until last year so it’s probably from there since we had a ton of mice). No wires were chewed luckily. So glad I found this thread and decided to finally deal with the issue.

I am having the exact same problem, tractor is fine for about 15 to 20 minutes then when it warms up it stalls when going forward or reverse. Loader is slow both up and down. It acts like a restriction in the hydraulic system. Engine will idle fine but when you press the forward petal the RPM’s drop and the motor sounds like it’s in a bind. The lx3310 hst is at the dealer now I will update with results..
Use my info and invoice for the warranty fix

It looks like at some point this thread went off the rails for a moment but I’m glad it appears to have helped someone else. Usually I look to the internet to fix things. I feel like some more unfortunate owners will experience these engine failures in the future. Hopefully it will work out as well as it did for me outside of all of the aggravating times it was at the dealer and it ruined weeks of trying to get work done at my house and friends houses.

I’m so glad I helped someone on the internet. I build and fix everything on my own to save money by using the internet. I have saved waaaaay more money and had more fun doing it myself.

F.Y.I. There are FIVE "Fix as Fails" bulletins out on the B series and LX3310 models. This defective injectors one being discussed is one of them.

They are marked confidential and not supposed to leave the dealership so they don't advertise them.

The others are for:
strong exhaust smell
no start in cold weather
return spring for the HST pedal breaking
Jerky motion in forward or reverse motion on HST

If you have any of these symptoms contact your service department with your serial number to see if you are covered. They are all fixed free of charge for 5 years after the in service date.

The muffler and rocker cover is hardly the whole top of the engine.
I love trolls. A $5200 tune up…OK.
It was a tune up everyone. Nothing to see here. Everyone should just do it themselves.

This reply seems ridiculous don’t you think? . I posted a $5200.00 repair invoice
Everyone I would like to apologize a moderator has brought to my attention that it was NOT a major top end engine problem. It was just a regular $5200.00 tune up.
so don’t be alarmed this is just the normal cost of ownership. Budget well everyone
it’s apparently normal and not a big deal,
sorry for posting malinformation everyone and especially to you moderator whitetiger

I would like everyone to know the terms I used were not made up by me I post what I was told verbatim from my dealership.
so if you read from earlier posts. I was told “reformer”. Apparently the lx3310 doesn’t even have one.
the term “top end of the engine” was told to me over the phone.
For all of your future needs Whitetiger will set you straight. Good luck with your tractors.
