Nothing Kubota orange but some nice diesel smoke from the small town tractor pull I shot yesterday. Shot with Canon 1DX II bodies with EF 70-200 f2.8 and 24-70 f2.8 glass and image size greatly reduced to save bandwidth :)

Didn’t look for @mcmxi ’s boat thread as none of these are mine.

couple days in the Adirondacks on Fulton Chain. Our view from our little deck at motel.

Pontoon boats well represented at the rental place.

We were in Old Forge, NY for a couple days.

Getting in the neighborhood of @Tughill Tom

They have some whitetails and black bears that have gotten too accustomed to people.

Just before we got there, a mother black bear and two cubs were euthanized because idiot tourists wouldn't leave them alone.

The mother bear became aggressive after they got into a tree, and folks wanted selfies with the bears......

Stupid is as stupid does.....

This fawn was near our motel.

I left it alone......

My cousin, mowing with a team of horses about 1950:
Orest Horse Mower Nov 1959.jpg

That mower is still sitting on the Pennsylvania farm right near where the above pic was taken but I see that at some time it was modified to be pulled by a tractor (tongue is shortened). My cousin is now 94 years old and still living on the place.

Cool photo, but are we supposed to know what we're looking at?
Probably not. We stopped by this year because my father entered France in WW2 through Le Havre. They continued on to Harfleur before spending the night there.

It's Saint Joseph's Church of Le Havre. Like most of Le Havre, it was destroyed by the RAF and was rebuilt in a modern concrete style. Fwiw, many French people find it ugly, but it is a lot different than most of the architecture in France.

More information of the rebuild if you are interested.
