I think not sir!

I have been tripping over this beast for probably 3 (or more) months waiting for the proper window to stuff her in the basement.
Well I have been helping my BIL out with some "custom brackets" for a new Durango he is working on.
So I fire up the Ole CNC plasma machine and bust out a bracket.
Now I gotta bend it up........But damn it to hell, I have been so busy the "box and pan" brake was been knocked down "the list", so its not set up.
Being impatient, cranky and fed up, I reason this; "If I have to 'step around it, I may as well make it useful"...

But my forks are at my daughters place about 40 minutes one way................
IF THERE WAS ONLY A TOOL THAT
THAT COULD SAVE ME THE $2,000 IN DIESEL
IT WILL TAKE FOR THE HOUR AND A HALF ROUND TRIP DRIVE?????????????
Ohhhhh wait, what is that there??????
LIKE BUTTER BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ready, set,....lift!!!!
about 20 minutes later (with very little cursing
) she sets up nicely.
And for those of you that are asking yourself "What the hell does this dumbass NEED a "Box and Pan brake" for????
Or possibly
"Should I buy a "box and pan" brake"? (yes you should
)
or even
"What is a 'box and pan' brake?"
Stay tuned/look below.
The brackets I am making are shaped such that bending them would be "moderately difficult" to do on my other 2 brakes, although not technically "impossible"..........
Here is after the first bend, getting ready to do the second.
Now the second
This third bend would be tough to pull off with a "mere mortal brake" with any sort of accuracy/confidence/ease, cause those wings would hit the brake before you got to the 90 degree mark....
And here is the "magic" of a "box and pan" brake......
Just remove 2 "fingers"
and bend away.....
