Yes sir, sure are. I see them with the southcentral water boys, know em' well. We're off Dry grove, just saw em roundin my neighbors property.Tamale Place on I20. My Son and his crew is working in Terry directional boring and placing a bunch of 12" pipe. I think new sewer pipe.
EDIT: Correction, it is new water mains. They are working out Midway Rd, etc.

They're doing a very respectable job putting peoples road frontage back together considering the amount of work.
I hope they didn't catch too much hell from Mr. Hand on Lebanon pinegrove, he can be a bit aggressive lol.
While I've no clue of the job's location, I certainly know how a water main job can be disruptive of a neighborhood.I passed your words on to my Son and he was very familiar with Mr Hand. He showed me a Google Earth picture of his entrance. A Grandson handled him. They are D4 Construction.
I just had Hot Tamales and Grits for supper.
Sounds like a good operation. Would love to see it in person, but I don’t leave Chenango County often. They had to custom modify their back reamer to leave a hole large enough to push a 12" pipe with collars. They are probably pulling a 16" hole now so the collars will slide through. And yes, they have to push the pipe rather than being able to pull it through. I am proud of their startup company that is less than 5 years old. Their target market is fiber optic, but they are taking anything.
Reckon I had better soon cook something for them.![]()

Takes me back - - -I came home from work (Sawmilling) and the wife asked what I wanted for lunch? Warm over Chinese I reckon. She said that she bought some baloney and that is what she had eaten. What? I have not eaten baloney in 30-40 years, so sure, fry me a slice. She said that it was thin so how about two? OK.

She cut it in two to keep it from curling.

I bought a case of spam during the pandemic but still haven't worked up the courage to pop open a can to try itTakes me back - - -
After morning chores, my grandmother used to do fried baloney sammiches with a puffball slice, if I was fortunate enough to find a good one in the pasture.....side of pepperoncini for me....
To the Mrs. chagrin, my daughters used to love fried SPAM and egg sammiches for breakfast.
I haven't bored you guys, but I'm still on the search for the Vienna Sausage Can missing the Pivot piece....![]()
