Has anyone tried any of the pressure relief tools for flat face couplers? I am seeing one on my FB feed (tractorreleiftool.com) that looks like it may be useful. Have seen other similar. I have a faster quick coupler on the L6060 so no probs there, but on the SVL97-2 and the Case Cx130D excav hooking up munchers and mower attachments can be a challenge sometime. I’m not a spring chicken. And I don’t like cracking a fitting loose each time this happens. Just would like opinions. Thanks

I've fought with flat face fittings on my loaders 3rd function connections for years and probably collected every tool to make them connect and made some myself then I found the screw connect flat face fittings and have since changed out all my 3rd function loader attachments for this new type of fittings no more screwing around they just go together with or without pressure on one or both sides. I also have an adapter to use on rented attachments when I need it to connect to my loader outlets. No fuss no mess.

Watch this video the last set he shoes are the screw type I'm referring to they are the cats ass.

Looks like a handy tool to keep in the cubby.
a little $pendy but probably worth it ...... if it's a reoccurring problem.

I say go for it. you can't take it with you Grandpaw... $$

I like the idea... of course my brain is thinking I could probably make one iffin I didn't have 500 other projects... :ROFLMAO:

Yea kind of at the same point. Time is gettin valuable the more it runs out, so I “do it yourself” a lot less often.

Hook the hoses together on your implement after you remove it. Not only does it keep them clean, it keeps pressure from building up on one side.

Removal: turn off tractor, actuate valves to depressurize the lines, then disconnect.

Reconnect: turn off tractor, actuate valves to depressurize the lines, then reconnect.

Don’t leave your implements sitting in the sunshine or learn to live with the consequences Aka suck it up sunshine!
