And another all time favorite from one of my all time favorite movies:
(towards the end you'll heard Kim Carnes singing backup)

Awesome tunes, my favourite line from Vanishing Point is "It takes a Mopar to catch a Mopar"

So where was you hidein there William?
We went to southern AZ- Sierra Vista, Bisbee, Douglas, & Tucson. We were recently given a piece of land (1/3 acre) down there & decided to see how worthless it was. It was purchased in the early '70s during that AZ Land Fraud era for $5000+, and it was a complete ripoff. It was sold as having power, phone, water, paved streets, sidewalks, etc., but none of that ever happened. It's just flat worthless scrubland north of Douglas. We were able to figure out where the dirt streets used to be, but the are no road or lot signs or markers. We found that there are about a dozen hearty souls living off grid in the 1106 lots, but none even close to the lot we were given. There are some lots for sale in the $600 range, but only because they are adjacent. Single lots appear to be unsellable at any price. Taxes are $15 per year. (that should be a clue:rolleyes:)
Here are 4 pics:
P.S. I added the 5th pic just so this post isn't totally depressing- our favorite Hooters girl, Arayona.

I dont know maybe pick up 2 or 3 dozen other lots around that one, they might go for back taxes or as abandoned land, drill for water and you might have a nice little retreat there,,, maybe build a biker bar, strip joint, gas station truck stop thing,,, :D

Maybe if I didn't already have a beautiful retreat in the high country; trees, critters, 3 buildings, water, power, phone, internet, 2hrs closer, hundreds of miles from the mexican border instead of five, all paid for already.
