hmm...looks like 3.5" sections of 12" thick walled water pipe, the stuff used as 'sewer pipes' these days...
you might be able to use old propane or air tanks, just need the correct OD.

Sure thing ...

" This dual wheel spacer adapter kit is designed for tractors with 26×12-12 wheels such as what are found on the John Deere 1023e, 1025r, 1026r, and many Kubota BX Series models of tractors. "

Thanks for posting the link. May help others in the future too.

Seems like a reasonable price, considering it is basically plug and play.

Unfortunately, I just remembered I have a MMM that I use regularly throughout the summer...so anything more than the 1.25 inch spacers that I have now will not work for me...

No problem! I don’t mow with my BX, i have green riding mowers (L120 & LA140) that came with the property. I am intrigued by this dual wheel thingy - i agree the price isn’t too bad.

And then there is of course the Laverda solution (now copied by, among others, Deutz-Fahr)

About to follow @GreensvilleJay 's setup. Not because of tipping over, but to reduce ground pressure on muddy waterlogged clay.

The concern about force on the axle makes partial sense. The total force on the axle is no different, since the weight of the tractor stays the same. However, there's a greater transverse torque on the mounting flanges because dual wheels will not be centered over the flanges. I'm confident that the flanges are sufficiently strong to handle this.

You're not kidding about the price of 10" pipe...

yeesh ! The spacer is Polyurethane, 12-3/4" high and 3-1/2" wide. for $160 !!!!!!!!
Find a guy laying blue or green 'water/sewer/' pipe, ask for the 'cutoff' sections...
If I could get 100, prepaid orders , I'd sell kits for $80.

Heh!

Well... want to make the front kit? I'm thinking of using threaded rod with lug nuts and some red threadlocker and an extra nut on the first set of lug nuts to lock them on the rod. A tack weld would do the job too.

So I just received the kit and water or sewer pipe is exactly what it is. One of the sections has the NSF marking on it. It doesn't look like polyurethane; I'm sure it's just HDPE. Outer diameter is 12.5" and wall thickness is about 3/4".

I'm justifying the purchase by saying the price is small compared to that of the wheels and it saves me a bunch of time hunting down pipe cutoffs. But now I do need to find some 10 3/4" od pipe for the fronts. 2.5" would be long enough, to save some ability to turn.

Well, the kit doesn't even fit. The spacers are too wide or the bolts are too short.

I see that the pipe is polypropylene SDR 17.6, but you probably already know that.
