Just wanted to add my 2 cents! This is what I did with a golf cart cover from Northern Tool. Total was about $130 for cover, wood & clamps. Not the prettiest, but functional!

I've often thought about making a cover like yours Bugs, out of PVC pipe or copper pipe. Using elbow's and T's as needed to make a frame. But then again I've found it a helluva lot easier to just throw on an extra jacket when I need to stay warm LOL
