Two mad men came up with a plan to escape from their mental institution. They'd sneak up to the gate house, beat up the guard, open the gate and run off.
When the day finally came to enact their plan, they snuck out to the gate house to find that there wasn't a guard and the gate was left wide open.
One looks to the other and says, "Our plan has failed! We'll have to go back and try again another time!"
