Piece of cake. Have had several. Potentially life saving. And, at my job, I make sure you have a good nap so it is a breeze. Don't put this off. New recommnedations are starting at age 45. Bottoms up.

The answer I always got from patients was eleven as they sat quietly sipping their coffee.
You must be a practitioner. That's a tough job.

I have been on pain management for a 20 years. 7.5/325 and 50gms o tramadol. The stuff keeps me moving. Chopping wood and doing everything. Am I addicted? You darn betcha. I am addicted to work.

So how does a practitioner heal me from pain meds?

Had my bowel removed in 2010 after suffering with colitis for years, 3 months later had it reconnected however I suffered with pouchitis for 6 years before finally listened to my doctors warning me it was just a matter of time before I got cancer so one more operation to have the bag put back on but at least I'm still around to bitch about it.

A little off the Daily Chuckle topic, but an accordion can sound pretty awesome in the right hands.
I'm thinking of 2 peope, for the most part... One is this dude who plays Toccata and Fugue. The way the lows just resonate and shake your body - it's pretty impressive what he's capable of
(or maybe it's this other guy... I'm not sure... I'm at work a can't listen to them... They're both good, though.)

The other is the guy from Steve N' Seagulls, Hiltunen . He can do some pretty amazing things on an accordion.
But yes, it's very easy to make an accordion sound horrible, and a majority of the population would fall into that camp.

Yeah, they sound like they’re playing a pipe organ. And applying it to music appropriate to the instrument.

When I was living in a 2nd floor apartment in college, our neighbor downstairs played an accordion for at least two hours daily. He sounded like an elephant rolling around in a giant ball pit full of bagpipes. Never figured out what he was attempting to play. Despite his hours of practice, he never improved. The landlord made no headway controlling him as he was breaking no laws or covenants. My three roommates and I were able to negotiate an agreement with him to restructure practice hours to times we usually weren’t home. In exchange for his consideration, we agreed to refrain from beating him senseless with his own accordion in front of his wife and children.

I do agree an accordion in the right hands playing appropriate music can be quite pleasant.

STRESS MANAGEMENT

Picture yourself near a stream.

Birds are softly singing in the crisp, cool mountain air.

No one knows your secret place; you are in total seclusion from the hectic place called "the world".

The soothing sound of a gently tinkling waterfall fills the air with a cascade of serenity.

The water of the stream is clear, so that you can easily make out the face of the person you're holding under the water...

There now... Feeling better?

I remember during the Gulf War (Kuwait) they were so good at taking out targets, they had to look at secondary targets. First on the list were Mime Schools and Accordion Factories.

And the satisfaction of letting go a nice loud fart is what I really miss now that I can't. ;) There's just no gratitude in sitting around bagging farts, no sound, no smell, nasty looks and the laughter that follows.
