I recently got my first Kubota, a BX1500, and have a question/issue when starting. When I try to start the tractor when cold it will not turn over, it just sits and clicks. If I try to start with a jump pack, it will not turn over. The jumper pack does indicate that the tractor is drawing from the jump pack, but it wont turn over.
If I put a "starting charger" on the system after a few tries it starts right up and starts fine the rest of the day as long as the tractor is warm.
My question is there some sort of temp switch that keeps the BX1500 from turning over? I would think if it was a safety switch it would occur all the time, warm or cold.
I would appreciate any advice/help on troubleshooting this issue.
