This is the new girl of the house, Lady... Not too convinced of her name, and neither is she.
We'll give here a couple days to get settled in then we'll work on a new name for her.
She's a rescue out of California.

One of my grandsons just got a 10 week old American Akita. I couldn't get the pictures to rotate on my Kindle.
Had the same issue with my Galaxy tab. Still using the tap talk app, it would post the pics sideways for the thumb nail and right-side up for the big pics. Gave up using it, and use my iPhone instead

Daren: Beware. That thing can chew up anything in your house in 5 minutes and can chew her way to the outside in ten flat.

Sean: WHAT A CUTIE! She can chew my socks anytime! :)

Where would we be without these creatures in our lives?

Ray, surprisingly Gypsy has been the least destructive dog we've owned :D Our miniature dachshund was :p I must have bought my wife 3 dozen flip flops in six months. 4 hdmi cable, a new mouse for the computer. Computer desk has a spot chewed on one corner of the key board shelf :D A couple of lamps, an Iphone, plus some stuff I'm forgetting :rolleyes:He was sneaky!!!

We do have a couple of teeth marks in the handles on the recliners from Gypsy. And she has gotten a couple pair of my wife's socks :D She seems to go for the colorful ones, not my plain ones  Now she did destroy my wife's flower bed out back. But thankfully it was the one we were gonna remove anyway,

About s month ago, I had accidentally dumped a bag of starburst jelly beans.

Gypsy had found s few that I missed. Well my wife brought home some tonight. I didn't give it much of a thought till this happened. The nose knows!!!! :D

Sour skittles. Dog goes nuts for just one. Anything sour. Lemons are another one. Drool a huge puddle.try to peel an orange and shes right on top of that. Cant be sly at all. She can be dead asleep and the nose knows.

She's a little upset this weekend, replaced the curtains with vertical blinds and cant figure out how to open them. Her spot is on one end of the couch.looking out our front window. So need to leave one section up for her to keep an eye on the yard.

Best friend lives a mile away, his red dog shows up at shop on real cold days, bring her in to warm up and then she wants a ride home. Which i do.

Tj, i used to plow with three dogs in the truck :D black lab/springer mix, chow, and a saint Bernard :D:D made it interesting trying to shift the truck

Our dachshund and jack russell will perch on the back of my recliner to keep an eye on the yard. The shephard either is curled up on the end of the recliner with my wife, or laying on my feet.

The jack russell will give you his don Juan eyes if you have a bowl of ice cream. Which consists of him laying on your feet, paws crossed, batting his eyes at you  The dachshund is pretty tame when it comes to food. He will escort you to the pantry when he deems it time for a treat :p

Now the shephard goes bonkers for Starburst jelly beans. You have to think about it, before opening the bag. My poor wife was vegging out the other night when I was working late. Grabbed a bag of jelly beans and opened them while sitting in her recliner. The shephard came tearing into the living room from the foyer, and barreled full tilt into her lap :p:D The recliner almost went over backwards. There is now a no jelly bean rule in the house now :(

We've come to the conclusion gypsy is gonna be a big girl. At 6 months old I took her in to get weighed. She was 52lbs. 3 weeks later she's 62lbs  she's gonna be around 100 lbs full grown :D She's an absolute sweetheart though :D
