Got it. It is already doubled but I can make it a triple and maybe clip 45deg of the bottom outside corner. It would be a pain to replace the beam entirely but the hurricane straps are not on yet...so not impossible.

Well, on the way home google maps told me that there was a “stalled vehicle” ahead. It turned out to be a Kaufman dump trailer broken down with someone shoveling the gravel out of it into their pickup truck!

I’m in the market for a 14’ / 14k dump trailer for my hobby farm. Kaufman by far has the lowest prices but I don’t know how much of that is the factory direct factor vs the build quality factor. anyone here own a Kaufman dump trailer that can give me some insight into their durability? thx

It seems between the tractor, skid steer, backhoe and compactor that I am always running out of fuel. Granted I am doing the grading work to build a barn which will come to an end but I still think I want a better solution than 5-gal cans. I see where flo fast has some 10gal and larger jugs...
