Go on Cyberweld and look around…great prices and equipment. Look at Miller 211 for some capabilities…good rig too. Not cheap but should do everything you want and has settings to help you learn.

Out here, hydro is NOT considered renewable nor clean energy….stupid. We had the largest solar plant…already too expensive to operate and is currently returning to dust… We have 40 million people…and no plans on how to deal with how to actually keep the lights on…

Soooo….why did that break there? Almost looks like that metal was made brittle to crack straight like that by the vert weld. Almost looks like the manufacturer drilled a strain relief hole and welded over it on mine and OP.

I have been buying and driving Tahoes for decades…great work horse. I have a device that plugs into the OBD port that defeats that crap…called a Range. Works perfectly. All new cars have aftermarket defeat devices…

Do it OP! The best thing I have on the tractor as I am in a rock infested part of the world. Added a valve to the plumbing and has worked great for 15 plus years. My lines are carefully routed/hung to avoid pinching and getting caught. Looks lame but works for me.

Get a trash bag and put the gun/tube in it and bring it in the house the night before…problem solved.

‘You wanna do something to your rig that will REALY help is add a hydraulic thumb. That thing is the most used and best implement for my situation…and likely yours too. Makes the trench work and stacking walls way easier.

Welp, I have similar material and interlocked rocks from volcanic activity…with about the same set up as you OP. I put in about 3000’ of trench by just going slow and working my rig hard. The good news is that I have several large rock retaining walls!
