There is really nothing going wrong with the whine, I wouldn't worry about that. It's just the way HST's work.

If it seems to run better for you at 2k RPM run it there, your not going to hurt anything. The main thing is not run it too long at one...

FWIW, gear type transmissions are significantly more efficient than are HST transmissions, at the expense of convenience.

The LA535 on my LX3310 seems pretty gutless but I'm use to operating a 4310 and 4410 JD. I haven't really measured the max lifting...

Agree. I don’t know why people complain about high range power. It’s only intended for road travel, not doing tractor work. L = loader...

The load capacity is basically the same. However, the L loader does it at a higher height. The end results is the L can lift more...
