I went by Empire Cat on I-10 heading toward Tucson and I couldn't look away....all that heavy equipment there, hundreds and hundreds of excavators, dump trucks, dozers, bucket loaders as far as the eye could see.
So I been away for a week visiting Arizona & Nevada. Got back home and talked to the tractor make sure she was alright. No drips so must've been fine without me, it didn't cry.
Anyways...man first time being out west...what a different world. Got to see all sorts of stuff. Sedona was amazing...
Too hot to do much outside today, mid 90s and humid. But needed to water the newly seeded area. So I atleast did that today with the tractor but that was pretty much it. Nothing much. Noticed I flipped the seat up? Nobody likes a hot butt.
It felt fine, loaded tires too probably helped. But it didn't feel bad at all, tractor stayed firmly planted even going down an incline. Low range and 4wd zero issues.
So I took a chance and filled the 275g IBC tote with 150 gallons of water. I couldn't believe it but the L2501 had no issues picking it up and moving it to it's destination. I'm impressed with this tractor for what it can do and never seems to break a sweat at doing anything. The rear 640lbs...
That's a great idea. Luckily I have a spare 6x6 that's at the perfect size. It's overkill for what I need but I didn't feel like paying $170 for a tractor supply water tank that was only 35 gallons.
Picked up an IBC tote today. $100...ugh little more than I wanted to spend but I'm in Vermont and they are hard to find sometimes. This one was clean, just had organic agave syrup in it. Brand new tote as well. It was emptied last week and it's in really good shape and still had paper work and...
