I think this is the tool in it's original form. I think I remember narrowing it from 1/4" to .156, or maybe It came that way. It is stronger if you leave it wide, but cuts with more tool pressure, and wastes material. I'm sure there are narrow ones out there somewhere...

Here are what I use currently. First pic shows a the 1" x 1/2" brazed carbide tool I use upside down. It was originally cut down to fit a smaller machine, thus the spacer block.
