What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

major score! I could use a few tons of that for some creek crossings. my current plan is to rent a breaker for the track loader and bust out some pieces from our local rock ledges. not looking forward to that.

Kubota seat any information on this seat

a little more info would help. are there any kubota machines you are aware of that it may have came off of? did you just find it somewhere and have no idea what it belongs to? any part numbers underneath or on any of the base parts? super quick search found this similar looking kubota...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

quite an operation there! if you wouldn't mind when you have a moment, please tell us more about your chipper. model, hours you've used it, size of material, pto hp you run it with, repairs, regrets, etc. again, if you wouldn't mind. I did see your brief comment in skeets thread, maybe you...

    5160 kubota baler question

didn't know kubota made balers but on our deere balers chain tension was critical. same thing on harvesters, chain tensions are crucial for proper operation. too loose and chain can climb under sprocket and overtighten until it breaks. too tight it can stretch and break. are your tensioners or...

    Vertical Wood splitter Hydraulics

ya know I saw that video yesterday, actually watched the whole thing. that's the type of kit I was thinking about for you. I prefer oem stuff but for the low price point that accomplishes the objective, I like it! gives you a firmly mounted accesible working port out back with clean connections...

    Vertical Wood splitter Hydraulics

my apologies for the intrusion. apparently D2Cat is fairly close to me geographically and bought the same model B8200 from the same dealer my folks did 41 years ago. hard not to respond. small forum with narrow band of regular traffic. thread on kubota graphics change turned into a motorcycle...

single vs dual wheels on rotary mower

main purpose of dual tail wheels on a brush hog is stability and minimizes the deck skids from gouging. same reason finish mower decks have multiple ground rollers and guide wheels. other than cost impact, I don't really see a lot any drawback to dual wheels. 99% of what I mow is running...

    Vertical Wood splitter Hydraulics

yes sir! they were still on 23rd St. when Coleman took over around 10 years ago. just bought an svl75-3 from Colemans Lee's Summit a month or so ago. I live 6 mi from there, drive by it frequently. 😉 Doug Bracken left O'dells before the buy out and opened his own shop in Blue Springs on 7hwy...

    Vertical Wood splitter Hydraulics

curious how long have you been operating tractors? and not sure how installing a proper rear remote with lever detent or even simple power beyond circuit in the rear of your tractor isn't feasible. that is the industry standard method. anyways, there's always more than one way to skin a cat so...

A HST oil change gone wrong, what would you do?

first off, very common for hydraulic filter replacement intervals to be 2-4x hydraulic fluid replacement intervals. both do not inherently need to be changed together every time. for routine maintenance with no other known or suspected contamination, a 90% or better fluid replacement along with...

    Vertical Wood splitter Hydraulics

maybe I'm misunderstanding your plan.. are you intending to operate the log splitter from the bucket controls in the cab? not sure you can get there from here, not easily anyway. and that would surely be most inconvenient to operate. definitely rear remote is the right way to power a 3pt...
