Yes, and if the tapered end needs to have an angle to fit somewhere just use a heat gun warm it enough to make the shape you need.

I agree but there is no way to throttle the suction, I don't want maximum vacuum, just enough to hold the fluid.

From what I see there is a flat surface that sets down onto the top of the neck. That is where it appears to “seal” to me.
