    Hard to say without knowing the condition of the tractor you're interested in or knowing your intended use. I can tell you the L175 my dad bought about 1975 is still going strong. My brother in law owns it now.

    Try a pumice stone on those rust stains. You'll be surprised how well the work to get rid of them.

    Yes, but any 80w90 gear oil is fine. Doesn't have to be Kubota brand.

    My favorite way to cook a steak (bone in ribeye) is over good hardwood hickory, oak, dogwood, or beech and this big old rendering pot the previous owners left here as a flower pot. Throw a big old antique skillet in the mix for mushrooms and onions.

    Wouldn't call myself a bird nerd, either, but I do have several good bird ID books and keep a word document of all the birds I've seen and am able to identify on my couple acres here in the midlands of SC. Even with the bird books, many of the smaller birds give me a fit trying to identify them...

    I don't know the size of the blade bolt on your mower, but on my MMM deck, the blade bolt can use either the 30mm or a 1 3/16. If I need a large socket that I don't have, I go to Northern Tool. I'll use the impact to take them off, but I don't use it to put them back on. I just give it a couple...
