    Strange Blade

If I was doing the work I wouldn't weld that bolt to that plate. I have seen were folks had welded the bolt to the plate and the bolt sheared off at a later date. It will probably never break if you weld it but some 20 below cold morning you catch a rock or curb pushing snow is when it would break.

    Ram 2500?

Have a friend that has five of them for ranch pickups. They went from diesels to the 6.4 gas probably been close to a dozen years ago when they came our in the 2500 and 3500 trucks. They run flat bed, bale beds on them and have had good luck with them pulling stock trailers and hay trailers...

    Happy Block Heater Day!

Back in the 80's and 90's I had a couple semi tractors I installed Espar brand heater {run with diesel fuel} on because the drivers parked the trucks where using a plug in block heater wasn't an option.

    Leaf in the fuel tank!

Remove the fuel from the tank and get the wet, dry shop vacuum out and suck the leaf out. I have pulled a lot of bean stubble and corn leaves out of a lot of combine fuel tanks with out removing the tank. Removing the tank is the last resort. McMXi I didn't see your post until I hit the button.

    Happy Block Heater Day!

I have four pieces of equipment that have Kubota diesel engines in them and only one has a block heater in it which is my skid steer. The other three won't be used when its 30 degrees and lower out.

    Neglected L4760 Grand

In my life time I have bought more than my share of repo equipment from farm tractors, semi's ,cars, pickups and list goes on. The key to things like this tractor is you have to buy them {wholesale}. You have to buy it so if it ends up needing a motor you are still ok and you have to able to do...

Wish I had another inch or so ;)

Mine was a 52. I had put a little later T90 trans and transfer case with a Warn Overdive on it out of a 60"s IH Scout. No many FC's in my area and the few that were completely rusted out. Driving cabover semi's for years I always wanted a FC. Shouldn't sold the Willy's but someone had more money...

    Tonneau Cover Suggestions/Recommendations

I had the twin to your truck I bought it new in 2001 and it was a 2002. It by far was one of the best trucks I owned. Because of heart failure in 2004 and a big change in our farming operation I sold it and a all aluminum three axle stock trailer that I pulled with that truck.

To Sell or not to Sell L3010

First off welcome to the forum. Looks like you have a nice place there and looks like the previous owner took care of that tractor. There is no way I would sell that tractor and buy a old wore out gas engine tractor. If it seems a little big for you and you don't use the backhoe a lot take it...

    Inverted Snowblower Good, Bad, Ugly

Your are 100% correct. With no in town job anymore and no livestock any more. If I had my way I would be down south for the winter but the boss {Wife} says I would just be board down there. We have had a pretty mild winter here. I have done a lot of scraper dirt work. I moved snow once in Nov...

    Inverted Snowblower Good, Bad, Ugly

In my area when you need a snow blower is when you get 12 inches of snow and the wind blows. You have four to five foot deep drifts that could be a hundred or more yards long. You aren't using your inverted snow blower then. You will have your tractor high centered in the first few feet of the...

    A truck and trailer thread.

That is some strange marking on those rotors. Is pad material coming off the pads I have seen that happen. In all my years around heavy duty disc brakes I have never seen that much slop between the wheel studs and rotors. I would wonder if some of those Fords have different sized wheel studs...

I really need to stay off Craigslist ...., Version II

A couple in my home town bought a pair of those red Honda 90 trails must of been some where around 1968 or so. He was a dozer man and she drove school bus. They ride them every where. Good little cycles. We had a large Kawasaki dealer in the county seat twenty miles from my home town and I rode...
