    Rental 3 pt. Auger Question

If he was a little closer to me I could set him up with a nice large hedge post to hang that gate on. We can't seem to buy treated post in this area that last and setting them in concrete makes them rot quicker. When I up date gates around here I use twenty foot gates and normally put two in if...

    Rental 3 pt. Auger Question

You shouldn't have a PTO shaft issue. I ran a heavy duty three point post hole digger for years on a lot of different tractors and never had any PTO shaft issues. If your post are only six inch tops why do you want a 18" hole? If it was me I would hang the gate on 3 or 4 inch drill stem pipe and...

L5030 w/V2403....to rebuild engine or not rebuild engine.....

If I was only going to use it 50 hrs a year I wouldn't worry about the engine. Sounds like it starts good and runs good I would just use it.

L5030 w/V2403....to rebuild engine or not rebuild engine.....

If it was me I would have pulled it apart while I had the head off and fixed the cylinders, shaft and pump then . Now that its back together I would just run it. How bad is the shaft and pump leaking? How many hours a year are you going to put on it?

3rd function, remotes, and top and tilt

You won't regret going with the OEM valve it makes a clean set up. Years back when I updated my planting tractor two more hyd valves cost me a extra thirty thousand dollars LOL. I needed five outlets to run my planter and most tractors back then had three valves so I ended up going newer with...

What is the proper loading sequence for the “Parts Cannon” ?

Over the last twenty five years I have installed a bunch of new AC units and gas furnaces. Never seek any of this work out as I didn't need or want any more jobs. You put one in for a friend and the next thing you know you have a side business. Because of health issues I have got to the point I...

    2018 MX5200 500 hours

I am way north of two thousand hours on my MX6000 and have had zero issues with the regen system. Until August I am the only one that has operated the MX and I don't idle the tractor around. I run it at two thousand or more RPM and adjust the speed with the range and HST. I normally go 50-70...

    OK I got lazy

You just need a Grasshopper zero turn with a snow blower and then your blowing snow with your zero turn. Had one years ago and liked it.

    A truck and trailer thread.

Another vote here for BW gooseneck hitch's. The first one I had was in a 1989 Dodge dually diesel I bought used in 1990 out of Kansas and that is were BW started making hitches not to many years before that. I have had one in all my heavy duty pickups since then.

Steel pipe on snow plow cutting edge

I have not tried it out yet. Our first snow hit before I got mine done. I have a nine and half foot snow bucket I run on my 100 HP skid loader. I just installed a two inch, quarter inch walled pipe on my bucket cutting edge. I had the metal fab shop I buy a fair amount of steel from over the...

    Time for a compressor.

Its funny I have never owned a new compressor in any of my shops. The current one I have at my main shop I bought used thirty plus years ago. Its a 5 HP two stage three cylinder cast iron compressor with a eighty gallon up right tank. Kicks on at 130 and off at 160. Been a great compressor only...
