    I am very disappointed with Kubota over this... very little fusion on the side that separated. I would extract the rubber isolator and repair the mount.

    I, Spraynard, would drill the dipstick (off center) for a .0625" diameter type N mineral insulated metallic sheath thermocouple. I would do that because I'm hip-deep in .0625" diameter type N mineral insulated metallic sheath thermocouples.
