    V3307 piston to bore clearance

OP and NIW both did a good job solving this problem before it became a costly mistake. (y) I wish Joe would read threads like this between tokes.

Nah, no welding required on that beast. Chainsaw is the way.

I have a friend and he tore into the fuel pump on a F2400

He should have just gobs of red silicone to stop the leaks, instead of tearing into it. :D

    Zero Turn Blade Changing Ideas

I have used a loader several times at the farm to do exactly that. I raise it up until the rear bumper is about on the ground. I rotate the spindles to get a feel for any problems with the bearings first. Then swap the blades quickly without exposing myself to possible chain or loader failure...

Nice playground for sure. I'm glad the tractor is still running and shaping your realm, Joe.

Time for a smoked fatty and reassess the situation. At least order some seal kits for the cylinders while you are waiting out the rain.

Too bad you didn't take that bolt out adjacent to the pin weld you are grinding on. That is what is holding the pin in, not the weld. I hate to say it, but this project is getting way worse instead of better every day. The silicone is going to finish off the hydraulic system.

G1800 with D662-E Engine possibly locked up.

I have rewired the entire machine completely and did away with the combination box in the process. Added more fused circuits than Kubota had. Almost zero chance the starter engaged on it's own. It looked to be the original 29 year old starter to me. I think fatigue allowed an internal hot wire...

G1800 with D662-E Engine possibly locked up.

I thought I would post an update on my starter problem. I've had the new starter for months, but didn't take the time to install it until yesterday. Starter replaced in five minutes, it is working good and solved the problem. I disassembled the original starter this morning to see what was...

Duly noted until I feel like posting another tip or comment. :) This retired geezer is enjoying this excursion immensely, learned some things along the way too. You can't find me to whoop me because my location is Earth too. ;)

Fixing hole in side of block

Two thoughts I feel compelled to throw in at this point.... Sealing items from the outside is great from rain protection, but worthless if leaks are coming from within. Head gasket is a onetime use only, regardless if factory or China made. Once it is torqued, the seals are compressed and will...
