Didn't really won't to have to bump this thread but with the other thread goin on about "did I deserve this" I felt I had to. On the "did I deserve this thread" some of the replies were so outright condescending and self righteous that your opinion didn't matter or the lame ass arguement "if you don't like it start your own site . To them I say get off your self appointed, your crap don' stink pedestal and let the inflation out of your big head ego's out with the schrader valve behind your left ear. I really didn't want to bump this 2016 thread up but it will explain (look at the posters) why certain 'opinions' are deleted/censored posts happen', notice at least 2 of em are current moderators. ps, to those that said you would move out of USA if certain gentleman was elected, why are you still here?
Tired of this crap:
2016 link
Hope it don't matter but I have a copy of the original thread. Like Cyndi Lauper says: true colors shining through)

Flame away!!!!!!!!
I did not realize it until I read your post that this thread is more than 4 years old. I just thought that it was someone trolling in view of the did I deserve this thread. Now I see why others have said that there is a great disparity in how some posts are censored and others are not.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but the thread is 4 years old, meaning different software options for the moderators and before the site owner's clarified the forum rules.

So how be we cut the mods a break and compare apples to apples. Better yet, let's compare tractors instead.

How do the small B series (B6100/7100/7200 etc.) of yesteryear compare to a modern BX series machine? While the BX series are considered "smaller" and perhaps less capable than a modern B series, they do offer more HP than the old B's. Does that make them more capable?

I don't know what the dimensions of the older B series tractors were but there is a big size difference between the BX and the B series now. I think that the BX series are really capable machines that have a lot of HP for their size.

Really? What does that have to do with thread title?

Somebody should hit the report button on posts 1-38 since they violate several rules of the forums. What happens when mods get reported??:censored:

If you take the B7100HST 4wd as typical of the older small Bs, 55" wheelbase, 1265 lbs, 16 engine HP, 13 HP at the PTO. So slightly bigger, slightly heavier and slightly less powerful than the BX1860.

Yeah, but I am culpable because I aided and abetted the hijack. I actually think that this thread does point out a double standard and maybe even shows where the so called abuses began.

sure no problem.
From TOS:
"You agree to not use the Service to submit or link to any Content which is defamatory, abusive, hateful, threatening, spam or spam-like, likely to offend"

You were using the hijack to silence and change the subject from talking about the bias and hypocrisy amongst mods which is on display in this old thread to talking about tractors which has a different place on this website.
I and others find that tactic offensive and posts that are "likely to offend" are against the rules.

With all due respect, that is not the subject of this thread. The thread was already hijacked from being about a political joke to being an attack on the mods of this board.

I submit that such forum politics contravene the TOS. I further submit that a legitimate discussion about tractors on a tractor forum could not be considered "likely to offend".

Given the refined TOS that the site owner's implemented this past August, if it was up to me I would lock or delete all such politcally charged historical threads. But that's just my 2¢.

This forum use to be considered a family of folks with like minded interest about any make/model/year of Kubota tractor with a wide variation of other conversations of interest to members.

With the complaint of "not tractor" so frequent now, perhaps all thread topics not specific to the ten forum titles should be eliminated. Then it would be easier for members to not have to complain in a thread, moderators would have less policing and time send to fix.

Threads like PH Paul's rebuilding and "off brand" tractor is WAY out of line according to these purist! A thread about someone's pet is also out of line to these folks, or Skeets asking about a mailing label software, or discussion/pictures of drones. They also wouldn't want to see where someone went on vacation, how their building project is going, how they get ready for winter or summer.

Let's just trim it down so only the new folks who find the link by an internet search, trying to find an answer to their first ownership question can post a question. THEN let's see how many current members are around to answer those questions!
