My woods joystick needs replacing and it’s a flimsy plastic piece that it’s housed in and expensive. Are there any aftermarket solutions that anyone could point me to?

also, is it possible to make it so that it can have 2 functions at once? Like lift and tilt? It currently only does one.

thus is in a Kubota M4900

Are you talking about a loader control valve?

It’s just a joystick with cables, my control valves are fine. The valves are on the side of the tractor and separate from the joystick.

It’s number 3 in this diagram, I guess they do call it a control valve .

Gotcha. Thats the joystick controller for the two spool cable operated control valve. They are all pricey and $232 is only mildly on the high end.

I keep having to replace cables because the plastic housing is poorly made and it now also needs to be replaced but I’d like to upgrade it to an aftermarket joystick of better quality if possible. Is the $232 you are quoting for an aftermarket one or woods one? I definitely don’t want a woods one, it’s very thin plastic that doesn’t hold the cables in place very well.

The $232 is Messicks price for the Woods joystick. You can find other brands but the cable ends are not standard and may not work with your existing cables and valves. Expect to spend a minimum of $700 for all new joystick, cables, and valve hardware.
