I was pushing up a massive pile that I probably shouldn't have been. Then suddenly the refuel alarm starts sounding off.

And of course, knowing that I had just filled her to the top prior to heading over here, my rear had puckered up immediately.

I had unfortunately landed on a log promptly bending the guard that protected the lower hose connecting the two fuel tanks. Which in turn immediately ripped the hose off and empty my fuel tanks about a half mile into the woods.

Luckily my shop is only 8.5 miles from the house, so a quick ride to get some tools and a couple clamps we got her back to the house. It did bend the outlet for the passenger tank pretty good but I got a hose to clamp fairly securely.

Going to straighten out the guard tuesday when I go back to work and we should be good to go. Also bent whatever that little vent bolt thing is right in front of said guard.

Why I help some people is beyond me, this is also a feller who won't frequent my shop in town because we are "always too high"

That sucks…Do your have KTAC? If you got it, might as well use it. I hope you got everything straightened out…no pun intended. I did something similar a few years ago and KtAC to the rescue. I ordered a brush guard and skid plate the same afternoon the dealer hauled her off.

Might be a good time for a 5elevendesignz.com grill guard. Mine has saved my grill a few times.

One question: what is this "Stall Guard" function doing?

The stall Guard will slow the speed of the tractor if you are using the pto, so it can maintain the 540 rpm.

Move some more cull logs today. I finally dried up enough to get to them. This is one of the bigger logs I was able to move without cutting it in two logs. The glove gives a good idea how big this log is. It was heaver then I thought it would be.
