What components needed for a clutch job - L275DT

I'm probably going to have to replace the clutch on my old L275DT in the near future. Does everything need to be replaced, as in a whole clutch assembly, or are there wear items that can only be replaced, like bearings and friction plates?

It is standard old school stuff
replace these parts
pressure plate, clutch plate, throw out bearing, pilot bushing in the flywheel

I'd suggest having a clutch disc, release bearing and alignment tool on hand. But if it was smooth and not chattering it may not need a pressure plate.

No chattering. It's just been a bit hard to engage/disengage the transmission, although that's probably more related to some adjustments I need to make.

I was shredding my neighbor's pasture last week and the tractor was bogging down at times when I was taking too much of a cut through some tall grass, and a few times I smelled what was likely the clutch. It was grinding even worse when trying to engage gears from neutral (manual trans) the other day after doing that, which got me thinking about a clutch replacement.

Check the parts diagram, if the flywheel has damage you may need to have it resurfaced and it would be the time to change the rear seal. Front transmission seal? Make up some pilot pins and have a disk aliment shaft, to make reassembly easier.

Tim, from your description in post #4 it sound like you need to simply adjust your clutch. Need to extend the linkage a tad. You may be able to go a long time before splitting the tractor.
