Yes but.can I unplug the curl port on my loader block an plug in the hose from my pull type cutter?
Yes, just trying to raise and lower a pull type bush hog.Yes but.
Are you tryong to opeate a single acting cylinder using one hose?
Dan
If its a single qcting cylinder (one hose) you should connect the unused bucket port to the hydraulic tank. If you dont connect the extra port you wil run the pump against the over pressure relief valve evrery time you retract the cylinder. That wont kill the hydraulic system but should be avoided if possible.Yes, just trying to raise and lower a pull type bush hog.
Okay, I'm a little ignorant on this, so please break that down for me. i don't understand connecting the unused port to the hydraulic tank.If its a single qcting cylinder (one hose) you should connect the unused bucket port to the hydraulic tank. The loader valve hasvtwo bucket outlets.Okay, I'm a little ignorant on this, so please break that down for me. i don't understand connecting the unused port to the hydraulic tank.
I have since been told i can run the cylinder off 1 hose that pushes and vent the other end of the cylinder. going to try that before i do anything else. The loader valve hasvtwo bucket outlets.
You will connect the implement hose to one of the outlets
You need to get a another hose and connect it to the other outlet. Then run that hose to any place on the tractor thst dumps into the transmission.

You dont understand. You need to do both.I have since been told i can run the cylinder off 1 hose that pushes and vent the other end of the cylinder. going to try that before i do anything else.
