hmm.From the original past..
Cause of Loss **Collision,- using the grapple to pick up a log and while doing so, the grapple snapped**

I don't see how that WAS the cause, log is on the bottom grapple not the top. The top section mearly 'holds' the log.
Now ramming into a tree THAT could do the damage we see..but...shouldn't the upper grapple not move that far ?

This is why I never pay attention to all the horror stories you see on the forums. "this machine sucks and this breaks on every one of them"

Then you see how they use them, LOL

Too bad the operator didn't mow the weeds down first, then he'd have SEEN the dropoff.
Can't tell is that a tiler or box blade on the rear ?
Should have chained loader down to frame too !
I like to walk a new area before I ever bring the tractor on it. That is when you find those drop offs.

Huh, I thought 4wd was to get you places you really shouldn't be, and then having recovery equipment on hand was to get you back out when you got stuck... :ROFLMAO:
Hmm, wonder how hard a receiver winch install would be on my little BX... Probably easier than the alternator and battery upgrade, but Curtis sells a bolt-on, high-amp alternator kit for this tractor for the cab A/C units.
I priced the cab and a/c addition for my old BX2370 and for $2K more got an LX2610, would have okay at that but then got silly with implements.

As my dad onec said "when the axle drags the dirt, it is time to stop mashing the stupid pedal"
That advice has saved me more than once!

I especially like the idea of putting some logs in the tracks.
LOL flipped it driving around with the loader up and a piece of firewood in the bucket

Some guys can operate a piece of equipment for decades, others break everything they touch
Obvious to me the wife was driving.

Thank you. Old off road Jeep trick. Jack it up and use logs to get the axles (or belly) off the ground. In this case, I used the bucket.
