Top Link for M7060 question

I purchased a Kubota M7060 2017 with vertical exhaust. When i got it home it didnt have top link. The previous owner mailed me I hope the original top link. Both sides only seem to have 3/4” diameter holes. It hooks up fine to tractor but all my pins are to big to go thru the eye for the implement side. Smallest I had was a 7/8 and it was to big. Can someone verify if this is correct on their 7060 top link. Why so small for a 70 hsp tractor. Thanks Ricky

The M7060 has a Class I / II hitch so it can do both.
You have a Class I top link
You need a Class II top link if you need to use it on class II equipment.
You can use a Class II on Class I implements with a bushing.

No all of my implements are for a 70 horse tractor and are class 2. Do you think this top link came with tractor?

The factory top link comes with a (cat 1) 3/4" tractor end 1 3/4" wide.
The implement end has a narrow 1 3/4" wide cat 2 end. (1" pin) (std cat 2 is 2" wide)
You need a reducer bushing for the implement end so that you can use both cat 1 and cat 2 implements.

And just an FYI, Kubota uses a 3/4" tractor end pin all the way up to an M5-111. ;)

Thanks MtnViewRange, that is exactly what I needed. I got a top link with both 3/4” ends. Didnt think it was Kubota quality. Any chance you would know the min and max length of the top length? I may can pick one up at my local Atwoods. Thanks

Look at this video, get the asked-for dimension.
That dimension should be your midpoint adjustment.
I normally provide a 20 1/4"- 29 1/4" working range for hydraulic top links for your model of tractor.

Both the factory top links on my MX and M are 28" fully extended, center to center.

If I were to add the Pats quick hitch would I need a longer top link to make up distance of pats hitch?

Most likely. Pat's adds 3 3/4" length to the draft arm pin location. So yes you could probably get connected with the std top link, but there would be little or no extension (tilting back) possabilities.
