I recently purchased Pat's quick connectors and they work great. The issue is that I have a hydraulic top link that is now about3 inches short. Does anyone know where I can buy an extender to attach to the tractor?

Mark,

with an extender - you will need to make it sure it is rigid enough so both up and down will have the pressure it needs.

You may need a new longer top link to make sure that it works as planned.

if your top link is 16", you'll need to buy a 20" unit. that'll give you the same range of motion...
I've seen a section of chain used as an extender( but NOT ridgid....), section of bar with holes 3" apart, is ridgid.

Sounds like solutions are moving further away. Buy a Quick Hitch?

I had the same Issue. Here's my go at it. The horizontal pieces are 3/8x 2" flat steel bar. The diagonal pieces are 3/8 x 1.5" steel bar. Nuts and bolts are 1/2 inch. 7/8 drill bit also needed for the hitch pin holes. Put this in roughly 18 months ago seems to be holding up so far. Did a bit of welding but that's not required.

Nice simple extension! Easy for some to visualize concepts and put into action. Nice job.
