Third function

I recently bought a 2018 bx2380 was listed as having a third function, it has the ports and lines ran but the joystick only has 1 button did someone just not finish installing the kit

It may be a diverter. Do six hydraulic lines connect to the valve, 2 to the outlets, 2 to the curl cylinder and 2 to the loader valve? If so, it's a diverter. Push the button while moving the joystick and the grapple should open and close instead of the bucket curling and dumping.

Sounds like you have the Kubota diverter valve.
There is also a Land Pride third function kit (as well as some aftermarket) that has 2 buttons.
Each has it's advantages.
