trying to see what equipment i have that can be used with the smaller tractor.
5' rear brush hog,
row furrower on a bar.
50" tiller.
post hole auger.
quick connect bucket and forks. (i figure the frame would be different for the fel...
be going to a local dealer later this week.
sometimes it a good thing to know a bit before talking to a salesperson...

Off the top I would say the 50" tiller, buckets, and forks are out of here.

The tillers is going to be way too big and demand too much HP from the B to be useful.

The buckets and forks will probably have the wrong mount size/type and 2 be too large for the B.

Do you know something we don't?

Keep your L3200. I wouldn't bother with a B unless you're ok with a B2650 or B2601.

Nope you are right to second guess me, I seen L to B and didn't take into account it was a large B.

Shadow, Why would you not recommend a switch? Is there an issue with that model?

Tier 4 regen, that uses a reformer system over a common rail fuel system. Alot of issues with cold weather not causing it to work correctly. I dont think a 3350 would do anything a 2650 wouldn't, and for less money.

Tempforce, I think the question to ask a salesperson about the 3350 is whether or not the computer/regen/reformer problems have been fixed or not. Some dealers have had to take 3350s back according to some posts in TBN. You might want to search b3350 problems. I don't have first hand information, and you know how the internet is, one problem turns into a multitude. In one post it sounded as though there was a bad batch of parts and dealers were replacing things with more bad parts only to have the problem reoccur. It was not all tier iv tractors, but specifically the b3350 at least in the thread mentioned.

If you can get along with your present tractor, maybe supplemented with a lawn mower for a couple of years it might be a good idea. Or the two models Shadow mentioned have some enthusiastic owners.

Maybe I'm reading the spec sheets wrong, or completely misunderstanding the thread, but I've got a couple of questions...

How is going from an L3200 with a smaller wheelbase and 4" shorter nose to tail, downsizing?

Wouldn't it just be cheaper to put a cab on your L3200? The cash value loss alone in the trade would pay for that. The fuel economy over the life left on the L3200 would probably pay for a quarter of a new unit 10-15 years from now.

So, as you can see, I'm a bit confused.

I believe the l3200 is a larger frame and weighs more than the b3350. I think that all of the implements the o.p. listed Will work just as well on the b3350. I have a l3800 and do not think it would be a very good candidate for an aftermarket cab.

i made it to my local kubota dealer...
the front end loader, bucket plus forks and the backhoe.
will go with the L3200..
the B2650 does not have a particulate filter or the problems many owners of the B3350 are having.. also it's a few k $$$ lower in price...
my sales person told me the value of my tractor for a local sale. not trade in, as he couldn't give me what it was worth.. (profit margin, you know).
all of my other attachments will work on the 'B' i'm a bit nervous going to the smaller engine, but know i don't want the problems the 3350 has been having.
my big projects are getting completed and i won't need the larger 'L' series tractor. but i do need more than a lawnmower.. i put in between 1/3-1/2 acre of garden. i have over a 1/2 acre of grape vines, the kiwi and black berries are still to young for a decent harvest.. or to make any vino.... also i have a young fruit tree orchard... (i give a lot of veggies and fruit away.)... i've finished the wildfire cleanup, so i won't be moving logs anymore.
