Hello! I recently bought a 1994 Kubota L4350 with Hydraulic Shuttle and Everclutch. It runs and operates well, except for one thing. The hydraulic shuttle lever is sloppy when put into forward gear. When put into reverse, the lever "clicks" into place and reverse gears work as expected. The lever stays in reverse position like it should. When put into forward position, there is no "click" feeling and the lever slides back to neutral very easily. The linkage going down the left floor follows suite. The tractor sometimes hesitates in forward gear and feels like the clutch is staying engaged longer or more than it should. Is there an adjustment I can make? Either on the column or with the linkage? Or the clutch itself? I am in New Hampshire and waiting on the snow to melt to be able to tinker with it for any length of time. Thanks for any replies.

Lets clear something up, they never made the L4350 in and EC (ever clutch) and be thankful you don't have it as you can not get parts for it.
Give me your serial number so I can see better which linkage it is equipped with for the shuttle.

I’ve seen this said in many places! Ive included a pic of the side of the tractor for reference. Maybe someone added the sticker. lol The serial number is 60270. Thanks for the response!

Ok I'm going to eat a little crow on this, it does have an EC but it's not the same as all the rest of the EC's out there.
The normal EC had it in the Bell Housing and was prone to going out.
This model has a dual EC in the transmission.
What they now refer to it as a shuttle clutch.
Now to confirm which exact setup you have.
You'll have to look at the clutch linkage to figure out which one is right:
You should have HDT-W
First clutch lever MDT and HDT look like this.
Clutch lever HDT-W will look like this:
Clutch pedal MDT and HDT
HDT-W clutch pedal

No need to eat any such bird. You have far more experience and knowledge than I. And you have solved the mystery of the everclutch in the L4350. A bit of knowledge I would have NEVER known otherwise. I will check the linkages and report back with my findings. Thanks again!

Ok for the shuttle slop
Check these ball joints (yellow) they are the most common to wear and cause engagement issues.
Again check these ball joints (yellow).
Check for excessive wear on the pins and loose linkage bolts (blue).
Also make sure the spring (green) is in place.
