Removing the front two middle oil pan bolts on L2900 4x4

How do you remove the front two middle oil pan bolts?.the piece that holds front axle is in the way.also can you use a bolt instead of the pin that holds driveshaft couplers.they don't give you much room to pound out the pins.

You have to drop the axle.

Not a good idea to change it out to a bolt.
And clearance will be an issue.

Thanks for the advice.any advice on replacing front pinion gear couple slides on.mine is broke.

I looked at the manual.does the pinion gear come off shaft or one piece.

It's one piece, you will need to get the ring too, they are a matched set.
