PTO indicator on. Will not start

L3240 will not start. PTO dash indicator is on but PTO switch is off. When problem first appeared, tractor was running, but would die if HST pedal was depressed.

Help! How do I troubleshoot?

Look at the mid PTO too.

Need to know if it's a L3240 or a L3240-3 or a cabbed model of either.

Let me do some digging on this issue.

Check your fuses

Try starting, with clutch pressed down, move the PTO lever to see if engine turns over. Maybe switch needs adjusting.

Is it the pto indicator or the brake indicator. The park brake being on, will kill the engine as some as you move the treadle.

After several suggestions to check fuses, I decided to recheck them. Sure enough, I found the culprit. Unsure as to how I missed the bad one when initially checked, but.......
