Did a search, didn't see any threads less than 4 years old.

Anybody bought a Landpride FDR2572 or something close to it lately? I'm considering it, but need to know what to expect price-wise.

Thanks.

PHPaul. That mower new is around $3500.00. I have been mowing with the FDR1672 on my B2650 for the last year or so. It has been plenty heavy duty and mows excellent. You can get the FDR1672 for about a $1000.00 less. Any other questions let me know.

Thank you rkidd. That's a bit more spendy than I had anticipated.

I'm mowing pasture land with my old Deutz, it's not lawn quality but it's not rough field either, been mowed 4-5 times per summer for years. Some sawgrass, maybe the odd small (less than 1 inch) tree branch hiding in the grass/weeds.

Do you think the 1672 would work for that?

Yes it would work for that. That is what I am doing with mine is mowing 3 acres of old farm field out back and works great. Look for a used FDR1672. I found mine for $750.00 and came with a brand new set of blades still in the box. Last winter went through it put on a couple new idler pulleys and a new gear box seal and painted it. It is good as new now.

Dealer responded to my emailed inquiry with $27xx and $35xx.

Not gonna happen on my budget. The Duetz is still doing a decent job but is obsolete, can't find parts beyond generic blades and the belt.

A used 1672 sounds good, I'll keep my eye out.

I found mine in our local farm and dairy. Type in FDR1672 on the internet and you will come up with alot of them. It is a heavy duty solid implement. Mine is a 2004 and with a couple new parts and some new Kubota orange paint it is as solid as a $2500.00 new one. Good luck!! The good thing with the Land Pride also is you can get any parts you need for it.

I bought this last Nov. at a auction for $200. The plan was to sell it this spring for $600 but I have been mowing the guy next doors yard with it. In heavy grass its all the B7500 wants but it sure makes quick work of his yard and I should have it paid for the next time I mow.

Found a nice FDR1660 on Craigslist.

Looks nearly new, very minor rubbing on the paint is all. Tires dry rotted and will be replaced, but from the overall condition, I doubt it has 20 hours on it.

Paid $900 or something less than half of the price of a new one. Mows nice!

'druther have had another 72" cut, but this one will do very nicely.

Glad you found the FDR 1660. These mowers really do mow great and are very solid units.
