I'm looking at the TS Country Pro 18-100 HP 3-Point Post Hole Digger for my BX25D. I don't have a ton of posts to do, but having something available when needed would be great. Are there better options out there or are they all mostly the same?

Can a BX lift a post hike digger high enough to clear the ground? IDK. Just asking.

Good question, will need to look into. That would be a PIA if it can't.
Compare specs to the Land pride PH digger that meets the specs for the BX.
Most of the Full size PH diggers can not be lifted high enough to clear the ground.

clearing is one thing....
hmm... how DEEP must you dig !!! Around me 3 1/2 feet is 'frost', which of course varies nbased on where you live.
Doesn't make any sense to buy a 3' digger when you have to go 4' down.

Don't think my BX23S will lift a 4' unit.

other options, instead of buying is to
rent a proper machine or hire it out.
either way when you plan the job ahead, be prepared, it'll go faster, smoother, might save money too.

I've past up PHDs in the past, cheaper to hire it out. NO stones so guys can drill fast.

I successfully used a standard size Speeco PHD on my BX for many years but it required one simple modification. The Speeco unit came with 3 or 4 holes in the long tube from the top link to the auger gearbox for adjusting the u-shaped bracket to reach the lower links on different tractors. It needed an additional hole so the geometry would work with the BX's itty-bitty 3 point setup, allowing the auger to lift high enough for clearence. Once I figured that out, it worked well. Many of these PHD's are similar, but YMMV.
