Anybody have or ever seen a B7100, or a 6100 or 5100, with bent lift arms and outboard stabilizers? I have a prospective customer with them on his tractor, and a Kubota parts diagram showing the breakdown. I'm thinking that this is a 3 point from a different model. Any input?

Could very well be different parts. I always take lift arms off of junkers, and save them , for just such an emergency...:D:D

Sounds like parts from a different model. I'm no expert, but the only B7100 3pt variations I've seen involve where the turnbuckles attach to the tractor- to the hitch or to the 3pt bar.

My L has them bent and my check chains on the outside, so maybe they are off a old small L?

I think so. Also, the lift arm doesn't have the triangle, horizontal mounting ear- it has vertical tabs welded on the outside of the arm. I can build a set for him, but I think he's going to mail me the arms to remove the tabs and weld on new ears.

I'm pretty sure my B7100 has the lift arms you are talking about...

My dad was the original buyer/owner of the tractor, bought it new back in '77 and now its been passed down to me.

I'm not sure if they were a special order, but I can ask and find out when I talk to him. The 7100 did come with a woods RM48 rear mount finish mower... not sure if this wasn't something done to accommodate it.

But to be honest I have a woods 60" mower behind it now and have been wondering if getting the straight lift arms that I've seen on other 7100's wouldn't set the mower deck back further so the pto shaft isn't so short

Good question. If you measure your arm length from ball socket to ball socket, I'll measure the straight arms on my B7100. See how they compare.

Is this the 3 point set up that you are referring too? I believe this was standard on the older B7100's...

From all the work I've done and all the tractors I've seen that is not a stock 3 point linkage set up, looks like good quality, but doesn't look like Kubota stock design.

My Kubota owners manual for my 1977, B7100 has this same exact 3 point set up in the manual. It seems like a stock set up to me. Is there a better design out there, that one can change too? I have seen others with the check chains to the inside and not the outside. Is that a better design?
