According to the Kubota on-line parts diagrams, the B6100 hydraulic pump part number was superseded by the same part number used on the B7100. So I would think it will work.

Mines a b6200 not a 6100 they make so many different part numbers im not even sure what the gpo number is some say gpo is the place where pumps are built but still not sure why they have different numbers like 7.9 and 120

Oops, sorry. I misread your model.

An aftermarket supplier (Whitehouse Products) sells a pump described as "GPO120R" that fits the older direct drive B8200. That pump can be squeezed into a B7100 (I know, I installed one in mine). Logically, it should be possible to go the other way and fit a B7100 pump to a B8200.

Kubota shows different part numbers for the B6200 and the B8200 pumps. However, it is possible that they are physically compatible just from different suppliers or eras or something. But it's also possible that the pumps have different size outlets or something.

I would remove the B6200 pump and take careful measurements. Then contact the vendor and ask him to take measurements of his B7100 pump. If he's not willing, I still have my original pump and could take measurements, however I'm going away for a few days so I couldn't get to it until next week sometime.

Do you have any idea what the 7.9 and 120 might mean? The guy that has the pump out of the 7100 is a good price for it im just curious if that number is flow rate. The pump he is selling looks identical to my pump othe than the gop number. So I just wanted to make sure it would work. Then I also see those same pumps that have a l after the number witch I guess is left hand drive.

I don't know the significance of the number. These pumps operate in the 3 to 6 gallon per minute range, depending on length and RPM.

The B7100 is a right hand rotation pump. Late model B8200 is the only one I know of that uses a left hand rotation pump, because it has a simple gear drive to increase the rotation speed (and therefore increase pump output). I didn't see a gear drive on the B6200 parts diagrams, but you should double check your rotation to be sure before substituting a different pump.

I'm on my way out the door now, but have a look at this thread for photos and explanation of pump rotation:

For what its worth I purchased one of Whitehouse GPO120R pumps by accident and will sell it dirt cheap. Brand new still in the box.

Ok dan I might take you up on that what are you asking for it ?
Per your request here sre a few pictures. Measurements are approximations based on eyeballing the center of the ports. Port plugs are labeled 3/8" and 1/2" and according to the Whitehouse description are JBSP e.g. JIS. Supposed to be manufactured by Kayaba which may well be the folks that supply Kubota.
