No fuel to injectors

i have a L 355 the tractor would not start very well, i found the primary pump diaphragm cracked so i replaced the whole pump assembly.
i am following the bleeding procedure.but have a question.
is the fuel pressurized from the injection pump or from the injectors.

ok so if i have fuel to the injection pump and no pressure out of the injection pump whats next ?-the lever that kills the engine does that change the injection pump operation ?.
