Good evening fellow kubota friends. I've gotten myself into quite a pickle and would love some advice in what to do next. A few months ago I spun a bearing on the my tractor. I finally got a round to ordering parts to begin the process. All in all, I'd say it was a rather simple job, except for the part where I broke something on the shutoff valve. I'm not quite sure how to explain the part. It was a plastic rod about 3inches long with a "disc" attached to the end of it. The disc part is what broke off. The rod for the shutoff valve actually passes through it and makes contact with the pump. I'm assuming this might have something to do with the manual shutoff?? Anyway, I didn't think this would cause a no start so I continued putting the tractor back together. Now I have no fuel coming out of the pump but I know I have have fuel coming to it. So I know the lift pump is working. I guess my question is, could that plastic piece that I poorly described be causing the problem as to why the pump isn't sending fuel to injectors? Does anyone know what that part actually does? Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes that is the part! Sorry, that completely slipped my mind. Its a L5030 with a v2403. Since posting I have found I can get it to run but it still has me scratching my head. I'm going to post 2 pics, 1 showing the injection pump shut off slide in the off position and 1 with it in the on position it runs when I use a pick to hold it in the on position but I can't seem to find what keeps it in the on position while running because the governor wants to slide it back to the off position the second I take my pick out. Anyone have any idea what's going on. Did I lose a spring when I removed the timing cover?

No I didn't take any of that out. Only took off the governor spring from the throttle linkage so I could remove the timing cover. Didn't mess with anything on the injection pump.

I have not yet replaced the plastic guide? Didn't think that would effect the tractor actually running. What spring are you talking about exactly? I just reused the dual spring that connects to the throttle linkage, but haven't found anything on whether or not the fuel shut off slide has a spring attached.

I decided to remove this piece of the engine stop lever and found that this plunger is not protruding from the threaded side. I'm guessing that may be where my problem is?

I have found the problem! The plunger was stuck. Not sure how this just happened to come up. Thanks for the help. It finally clicked as to what it could've been.
