I ran the tractor and started to noticed the wheels were not responding to steering wheel turns properly so I looked down and noticed the tire had come off the wheel. When I examined the tire, where the inner sidewall sits on the rim, does have some small tears in a few places. Just wondering if this is re-usable or does the tire have to be perfect?

Some pictures would help determine, but I'd at least try and seat it back on the rim even if it looked horrible.

Good advice so far.

Especially when doing heavy loader work in 4WD, check tire pressures periodically.

Lot of torque on the tires.

I been there..... ;)

Timely thread, I had a leak on my rear tire last week and it unseated form the rim. I tried the 3” ratchet strap method with no luck. Came back to it with a can of starting fluid and I could not get the fluid to “ignite”, I assume because there wasn’t enough of a gap to let the spark inside the rim. I left it out in the sun for a while and lubed the rim. Tried the ratchet strap again, tightened the SOB as tight as I could get it. Then proceeded to hit the tire with a sledge as I was filling it with air. After a few tanks of air she finally popped into place. Probably should have let a little air out before I attempted to undo the strap. When it let go, it really let go!
Be safe, whatever method you end up going with.
