"Dated" is an interesting word. It's typically used in a negative context with the implication that a better product has replaced the "dated" one. I'm not sure that the M4 is a better tractor. The M5 offers more/bigger engine options, but there isn't much not to like about the M6060/M7060 tractors, and they're still being made.

The cab and controls of my M6060 are as nice as any tractor model from the M6060 down, and it's way more capable than any of the models too, and not just by a small margin. I would without a doubt buy an M6060/M7060 again, and would skip the M4 for an M5.
I didn't really mean dated, and yes it is a nice and adequate tractor. What I meant to say is it's not the latest flagship 70 h.p. tractor in the Kubota lineup any more. The M4 is even way more expensive and you do gain a bit bigger cab and buddy seat, but the M7060 will do everything it will.
Besides, dated isn't a bad thing. My 1952, 55, 67, and 71 tractors are every bit as good or better than my newest ones.
