How different is the ride in the M7060 with the standard Grammer seat vs the optional Air ride seat?
Is the air ride seat a Grammer?
I am thinking about getting a M7060 and the one on the lot has the standard Grammer seat.
I'm a big guy at 6'2" and 300 lbs.
Thanks.

I'm not aware of tha Gremmer seat but am most interested in comments toward a better option than the factory seat on that L4760. I'm 6'4/250 and even on the stiffest suspension crank setting, I max out the travel when I sit down. The fix so far has been addition of a kids barber chair booster seat to achieve a minimally correct drive height. Also my right elbow get rubbed raw with FEL work due to wrong seat ergonomics. So again very interested in feedback about seat options too.

I have a l4630 with the factory seat and an M5 with the air ride seat. The Air seat wins. I can bottom out the non-air ride seat and have yet bottom out the air ride.

I have an L3560 and the seat kind of bottoms out with my 135 lbs. It is ok for what I do. But I sat in the seat of a new M7-171 and whatever it has is really nice! Much firmer. What a cab!

The air ride is a Grammar and you can buy an air base to use with the OEM suspension, I have one in my shop for our M8540. I have an air ride Grammar seat on my L570 and love it.

If they made one that would twist to one side so I didn't have to bend my neck so much. I had one like that on a d6 cat once. It was so nice since I seemed to drive backwards more that forward.

They do. The one on my L3560 will rotate about a quarter turn. Didn't think I'd need it, but after a half hour with the back blade or rake and I am really grateful for it.

My factory L4760 seat rotates maybe a quarter turn left or right. But as above, the suspension needs to be way more firm

I agree, the seats on the new grand L do need to be more firmer. I wish it would not bottom out.
