Hello,

About 7 years ago while skidding logs I went over a boulder I normally clear but ground thawed and tractor slid onto rock and crushed/ripped right side tank near crossover line port. I removed both tanks - cleaned and had welded. I replaced crossover hose and straightened shield at that time. Recently developed a small leak I think on rightside. Not a good time of year to be pulling it apart. Looking ahead to options for parts.

Thanks for any help.

curious was I.. kub cda says $917 for a right side tank.......ouch...
leak 'might' be where hose connects to the 'spigot' ?? If so, maybe double gear clamp it ??
Tanks aren't hard to fabricate, just time consuming BUT you've got a 'pattern' the fabshop could use.

Have to find a fab shop for a quote. Was hoping someone might have done it already or had another solution. Not a great location for steel tanks without shields under them. And I've been up to floor deck during floods here as well. Cab 6800's looks like they are plastic located high up behind the seat. Price on tanks hasn't come down In 7 years.

If it's a steel tank get it repaired.
A good weld will be fine as new.
And if your going to keep working it as a log skidder have a heavier skid plate made!
