I'm with the "See what the dealers offer is" crowd.

If they come back with something stupid, then keep it.

But if they come back with something reasonable, I would trade it.


The dealer of course will have to make money on it, but that's the price you pay for the "ease" of just trading it in. Typically, I'm ok with that though, because I hate all the hassles of selling things.

1st, it's your father's tractor part of YOUR family
2nd, dealer won't be fair( no profit for him )
3rd, a SPARE tractor is worth a LOT, heck priceless !!

How else could you drag your new machine back 655' to garage when it breaks down ? What do you use when dealer says 'parts in 3 weeks, 2 week backup in service' ?
EXACTLY!!!

No way in hell i'd be tradin "diddy's" ole tractor. Especially one that clean.

Would you take your 68 C10 to the chevy dealer for a trade in?

Or trade your 65 stang in on a '25 model. HELL NAW!!!!
