guess I'm looking at the wrong cables...in post #15,there's 2 BENT black cables, right one is really bent.
are they not the two 'control cables' he's talking about that have kinks in them ?
though looking at the 3rd picture , there's an threaded end of one that is 'bent' connected to a long U-joint
Get a bigger monitor, you're looking at electrical wires. 😉 :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Give the valve a good bath with orange or purple cleaner (degreasers) and then get me a shot of the front side (opposite where the cables connect) of the detent covers and I should be able to tell you the parts you need to fix the float.
Sorry about the delay getting back. Dad was unwell, but he seems to be ok again. Got a few pics and numbers

They look like 8112 and 5005A

I'm confused. Didn't this thread start relating to your loader valve, which is a monoblock valve? And this is your rear remote valve, which is a modular valve, Husco perhaps? Are both of them cable operated? Does your rear remote have detents?

That is the loader control valve, I have a similar one on myL2900. It's the remote version that uses a cable operated lever. Here's the part diagram for the one I have, it's probably similar to this one.

The first pictures he put up where of a fender mounted (or what's left of the fender) valve that has manual levers on it, remotes.
The second valve is a cable operated valve for the loader.

This should be the break down of your detent section.
I would pull it apart and see what the inside looks like.

OK, that makes sense. I'm pretty sure his loader valve is a Husco 5000 series. Both spools are 4-position, float with detent for the boom and regen for the bucket dump. Here's a schematic for the detent section.

Be ready to catch the detent balls as you disassemble it, they tend to fall out on disassembly.
