Ran into this problem las year, thought I had it solved, but apparently not. I have a B7500 host...when using a back blade to pull snow.....more importantly, when the blade is angled...I pop the snap ring off of the hydraulic shaft...and the lift arm falls off. I verified correct snap ring and orientation, cleaned the groove in the shaft....but a little bit of side load, and it comes off and the lift arm falls off. I’m about ready to put some tack weld on it. It was 4 degrees today and not fun to be working on it. Any thoughts?

Are the check chains properly adjusted?
If they are too loose it will cause unwanted side loads.

Post a picture of the lift arms.

Just curious as how u know it’s the right snap ring? The correct one, installed correctly, should not pop off.

What is the gap between the tabs when the ring is installed? Should be very small.

I only ask because I lost a ring this year cause I thought it was installed right. It wasn’t.

Well....its the snap ring part # listed in the parts manual at the Kubota dealer.......and its oriented correctly because I know how to install a snap ring.

I am aware it should not pop off......hence my post.
